Therapeutic Laser Treatments provide patients with a safe, effective,
affordable, and painless therapy that uses the body’s natural healing
systems to relieve pain, increase joint mobility & tissue integrity, and
promote cell regeneration.
What is Laser Therapy?
Laser Therapy uses a source of light placed in contact with the skin
allowing photon energy to penetrate tissue, where it interacts with the cell.
The cellular effect includes increased local circulation, improved tissue
oxygenation and stimulation of the production of cellular energy allowing
tissue to heal faster.
Is Cold Laser Therapy Safe?
World wide research to date has not recorded any negative effects from laser
therapy. Laser therapy has been approved by Health Canada, the U.S. FDA (Food
and Drug Administration) and the CSA (Canadian Standards Association).
Getting
Started
Just ask for the Laser. Your initial visit will involve a comprehensive
consultation, examination and diagnosis by Dr. Geisler. Our team will then
provide laser treatment and prescribe exercise therapy to you when indicated.
Treatments
Typically 6 to 18 laser treatments varying from 5-15 minutes in
duration are required, depending on the body’s natural healing rate
and treatable condition. Our clinical goal is the restoration of normal cellular
function leading to improved health.
Fees
Our usual fee for the initial visit is $30.00 and a Laser treatment is
$40.00. Depending upon your insurance policy, if you are covered for chiropractic
care, all of the fees may be covered by your health care insurance plan.
