Cathy
MacDonald
Reiki Master/Practitioner
Member of the Canadian Reiki Association
Cathy is passionate about helping people
reduce stress and increase relaxation.
Having a natural ability to communicate
and connect with individuals on all levels,
she is a highly effective practitioner
who takes the time to educate her clients
on how thoughts and emotions affect our
physical bodies. Originally driven by
her search to alleviate her own debilitating
symptoms related to fibromyalgia, she
discovered the tremendous healing power
of Reiki. It provided her with control
over her own healing for the first time
and was the mind/body/spirit connection
that had been missing in her treatment
plan. She started sharing Reiki with
a few friends and family and then the
requests just kept coming. She was helping
people resolve crippling pain in their
knees, neck and back. Helping others
to get rid of persistent headaches, achieve
deeper sleep and states of relaxation
not attained before and energizing those
with low energy. She also incorporates,
applies and shares the knowledge gained
through her continuous studies.
Aside
from being a Reiki Master/Teacher/Practitioner,
she is certified as a facilitator for
The Pacific Institute (Cognitive Psychology),
Insights Communication Workshops and
has completed the following training,
The Coaches Training Institute - Personal/Professional
Coaching, Body Alignment, The Phoenix
Seminar - Psychology of Achievement,
Brian Tracy - High Performance Leadership
and Management Mentors Int'l - Problem
Solving/Decision Making, Stress Management & Self
Management, Negotiating Skills and Conflict
Resolutions just to name a few.
Cathy volunteers weekly for Hospice of
Peel, provides free Reiki treatments
for members of *WELLSPRING and donates
her time to an organization that provides
education to front line workers in the
areas of mental health, trauma and addictions.
(*WELLSPRING http://www.wellspring.ca/ provides a wide range of cancer support
programs and services to serve the emotional,
social, and informational needs of people
